Early Purple
Early bloomer, dwarf, magenta-purple with a white eye.
Plant Description
Yes, as the name indicates, ‘Early Purple’ blooms earlier that the greater number of Phlox cultivars, by up to three weeks earlier, so this is a great plant to extend the overall bloom season of a phlox border. The flowers are medium-purple with white eyes, and are similar in look to ‘Laura’ and ‘Widar’, but this one is a much shorter grower, in the neighborhood of 15-20” tall. (= Barphlopaneurpur. PPAF)
