Flamingo
Flamingo pink with a fuchsia eye.
Plant Description
Flamingo’ has florets of a rich saturated pink, with clearly defined fuchsia eyes. It is indeed the color you imagine flamingos to be, and it manages somehow to be distinct from all the other pink phlox. It is a fine strong grower, coming into full bloom in the late midseason. The origin is Peter zur Linden, in 1971.
This phlox description is here for reference only, and the plant is not currently available for mail-order shipping. However it may be available potted-up for on-site sales at the nursery, or with advance notice.
