Tea Menu
Our Full English Cream Teas consists of scones, served with fresh whipped cream and homemade strawberry jam, cucumber-herb sandwiches, some baked sweet treats, plus tea or beverage of your choice. You can relax, with endless refills on tea and drinks, and seconds of scones, sandwiches and sweets.
Restricted diets can usually be accommodated with 2 day advanced notice. When booking your tea time online, please let us know if anyone in your party has any dietary restrictions. For special occasions, we can prepare baked goods and sweets with at least one week advance notice. For Gluten-Free or vegan options, we offer scones, sandwiches, and dessert options. There is an additional $2.50 charge per person for our vegan or gluten free offerings.
Full Cream Tea for adults is $22.00, not including VT Rooms and Meals 9% tax or gratuity. To include tax and a 20% gratuity, we suggest a per person cost of $28.50. Reduced rates for children 12 and under. (Ages 12 and under $13.00, ages 6 and under $9,00, the under 3 set, no charge.) Prices are ‘per person’, and customers cannot ‘share’ a tea. Tea Reservations
The maximum table size that can be booked online is 6 people. For larger parties, please call us. Reservations are rain or shine, we have covered space available for most tables – if the weather threatens to interfere, we will call you. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours ahead on our booking form below. Or, call us at 802-472-5104. While the booking form indicates 30 minutes for you ‘slot’, don’t worry, you will have all the time you desire!
We will send you an email reminder a few days prior to your reservation. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please call us at 802.472.5104.
Cancellations – if you need to cancel a reservation, please give us 3 day notice, so we can make your table available to others. We have limited seating, and don’t like to turn people away if you are not coming!
For visitors with mobility issues, please let us know so we can reserve the appropriate table for you. The restroom and gift shop are not fully accessible, and cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
The Tea Room is open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
