Natascha
Phlox ‘Natascha’ is rose-pink striped with white.
Plant Description
An unusual arrangement of colors, Phlox ‘Natascha’ has rose-pink petals striped lengthwise with white, giving these blossoms a pinwheel look. It draws a lot of favorable attention, and is of a perfect height for the middle of the border. Derived from native Phlox maculata, the leaves are considerably different from those of P. paniculata – they are comparatively much thinner, shinier and thicker, and they show superb mildew resistance. The weight of the flowers will sometimes weigh down the stalks, so a little support can come in handy some years.
This phlox description is here for reference only, and the plant is not currently available for mail-order shipping. However it may be available potted-up for on-site sales at the nursery, or with advance notice.
